The annual membership meeting of Rock-Moore Public Water Authority will be held on February 20, 2020 @ 7:00 PM at the Rock-Moore Water Office.  Anyone interested in a board position must complete an intent form stating which district they are interested in.  Candidates filing for a Board position must reside in the district for which they seek.  District 1 & District 4 will be voted on for a Three (3) year term each.  Intent forms must be filed at the Rock-Moore Water office by 4:30 PM January 16, 2020.  Forms can be obtained at the water office at 6920 Harrison St., Sulphur Rock, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM.

'Tis the season of holidays— days for family, days for good cheer. Days for remembering, celebrating, gift-giving, and merry-making.

The holidays are rife with traditions, many of them decades— even centuries— old. Traditions are a link to the past.  Tradition means “handed down from one generation to the next.” Traditions remind us that we are not isolated individuals, we do not live in a vacuum; we are part of history, part of culture, part of a family.  The holidays themselves are a way of remembering the past, commemorating important events —days set apart for a special purpose.
