ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING & ELECTION OF BOARD MEMBERS

NOTICE

 

The annual membership meeting of Rock-Moore Public Water Authority will be held on February 21, 2019 @ 7:00 P.M. at the Rock-Moore Water office.  Anyone interested in a board position must complete an intent form stating which district they are interested in.  Candidates filing for a Board position must reside in the district for which they seek.  District 2, 5, & 7 will be voted on for a Three (3) year term each.  Intent forms must be filed at the Rock-Moore Water office by 4:30 P.M. January 25, 2019.  Forms can be obtained at the water office at 6920 Harrison St, Sulphur Rock, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and  4:30 P.M.

A brand new year, a brand new day — clean and shiny, spotless and gleaming, hopeful and exciting. Untouched and unspoiled, like a present that has just been unwrapped. A time to look back on (and learn from) the mistakes of the previous year, and look forward with hope and resolution to the new days ahead. And as we celebrate, and hope, and resolve, and plan, we do so along with people all over the world, and down through the ages. In fact, people have been celebrating the beginning of the new year for over 4,000 years. So, who first celebrated New Year's Day? Why do we celebrate on Jan 1?
